How To Storm The Gates Of Hell! - Part 2

In last month's issue we established the fact that we must STORM THE GATES OF HELL; but, do you know HOW TO STORM THE GATES OF HELL?
Getting an understanding is of utmost importance in everything that you do. "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting GET UNDERSTANDING" (Proverbs 4:7). As a Christian, it is vitally important to have an understanding of spiritual things, especially of the affairs governing the spirit realm. The basis of everything governing our life and walk as a born again Christian is "SPIRITUAL."
First, you are a tripartite. YOU ARE A SPIRIT, you have a soul and you live in a physical body (Hebrews 4:12). When God made man, He breathed into his body the "breath of life," he breathed into man His Spirit, which gave life to man and made him come alive spiritually as well as physically (Genesis 2:7).
As a Christian, the very God we are serving is a SPIRIT (John 4:24); and, we are to serve Him in SPIRIT. The Word of God is also SPIRIT, as confirmed by Jesus in John 6:63, "it is the SPIRIT that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the WORDS THAT I SPEAK UNTO YOU, THEY ARE SPIRIT, and they are life."
Further, as a Christian, it is of utmost importance to understand that the primary enemies in our new life with Christ, our chief opponents, are SPIRITS; therefore, it is essential to understand what the Bible says about SPIRITual things and the realm of the SPIRIT.
Ephesians 6:12 (Amplified)
12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master SPIRITS who are] the world riders of this present darkness, against the SPIRIT FORCES of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural [SPIRIT]) sphere.
In order to successfully STORM THE GATES OF HELL, we must understand that we are not battling against physical people, situations or circumstances. WE ARE BATTLING AGAINST UNSEEN FORCES, SPIRITS, OF THE SPIRIT WORLD! In order to defeat these spirit forces, WE MUST USE SPIRITual WEAPONS.
God's Word, the Bible, is the blueprint for our lives as Christians and includes ALL the information necessary in every area, to live a successful and victorious life. The Word of God is Spirit (John 6:63); and, is our instruction manual on affairs governing the SPIRIT realm and clearly tells us HOW TO STORM THE GATES OF HELL! Anything that you need to know HOW TO do is outlined in the Word of God. The Bible, God's Word, teaches us, thoroughly trains us and fully equips us for STORMING THE GATES OF HELL!
II Timothy 3:16-17 (Revised Standard Version)
16 All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for TEACHING, for reproof, for correction, and for TRAINING in righteousness,
17 That the man of God may be COMPLETE. EQUIPPED for every good work.
Everything that you need to live a victorious, fulfilled life was purchased for you by the blood and the very life of Jesus Christ. However, in order to actually possess what belongs to you, you must TAKE A VIOLENT STAND ON YOUR SPIRITUAL TERRITORY and you must ATTACK THE SPIRITUAL FORCES OF DARKNESS!
When you are walking in obedience to God's Word, are believing God for a promise expressed in His Word, and there is a delay in the manifestation of the answer, KNOW that God IS NOT WITHHOLDING the manifestation from you; for, "...NO GOOD THING WILL HE WITHHOLD from them that walk uprightly" (Psalm 84:11).
The devil and his demonic hosts are the very reason that in most instances, the visible, tangible answer to your prayer has not yet manifested! Did you hear me? THE DEVIL AND HIS DEMON SPIRITS ARE THE REASON THE ANSWER TO YOUR PRAYER HAS NOT YET MANIFESTED! NOT GOD! They are the foremost SPIRITual opponents of our new life as believers in Christ. We must STORM their camp and DEMAND that they turn loose what belongs to us! In Daniel 10:1-13 we learn one of the key ingredients of HOW TO STORM THE GATES OF HELL! PRAYER! FERVENT AND STEADFAST PRAYER!
Colossians 4:2 (Amplified)
2 Be EARNEST and UNWEARIED and STEADFAST in your prayer [life], being [both] alert and INTENT in [YOUR PRAYING] with thanksgiving.
The word "steadfast" means to be firmly fixed in place [on your spiritual territory], to be immovable, unyielding, determined, settled. Steadfast, intense, earnest, unyielding prayer releases the power of God, which when released brings total victory!
James 5:16 (Amplified)
16 ...The EARNEST (heartfelt, continued) PRAYER of a righteous man makes TREMENDOUS POWER AVAILABLE [dynamic in its working].
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye STEADFAST and UNMOVEABLE in your SPIRITual life as a Christian and in SPIRITual warfare!
Daniel prayed and fasted earnestly and intensely for twenty-one solid days. "In those days I Daniel was mourning three full weeks [twenty-one days]" (Daniel 10:2). Daniel was not crying for twenty-one days, he was steadfastly persisting in prayer, he was praying intense, earnest prayer. Prayer which was born out of his spirit man and was intense to the point of agonizing groans. True prayer is born out of your spirit and is prayer that the Holy Spirit inspires.
Jesus prayed earnest, intense, heartfelt prayers in the Garden of Gethsemane to the point of agony.
Luke 22:44
44 And being in an agony he prayed more EARNESTLY: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
All our praying should be based upon the Word of God. Any prayer that IS INSPIRED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT will be based on the Word of God. Now, Daniel was not praying the problem rather he was PRAYING THE WORD OF GOD. When the warring angel of God got through the realm of the spirit, where there was spiritual angelic warfare going on, he told Daniel "...thy WORDS were heard, and I AM COME FOR THY WORDS" (Daniel 10:12). The only words the angels of God hearken to are the words which are God's words, words from the Word of God.
Psalm 103:20
20 Bless the Lord, ye HIS ANGELS, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, HEARKENING UNTO THE VOICE OF HIS WORD.
Thus, one of the primary ways to STORM THE GATES OF HELL is to engage in INTENSE, EARNEST, STEADFAST PRAYER! Prayer that is based upon the Word of God. Prayer that IS the Word of God. PRAY THE WORD OF GOD! Go into the Bible and find specific scriptures concerning your situation and pray them. STORM THE GATES OF HELL by praying the Word of God with faith!
Webster defines the word "storm" as a disturbance of the atmosphere, a SUDDEN or VIOLENT COMMOTION, a heavy DISCHARGE OF objects (MISSILES), a VIOLENT ASSAULT on a defended position by STORM; by or as if by employing a BOLD SWIFT FRONTAL MOVEMENT especially with the INTENT OF DEFEATING OR WINNING OVER QUICKLY, to be in or to EXHIBIT a VIOLENT PASSION: rage, to rush about or move impetuously, VIOLENTLY, or angrily: to move, TO ATTACK, TAKE or WIN OVER BY STORM. The word "storm" is synonymous with the word "attack."
Matthew 11:12 (Amplified)
12 And from the days of John the Baptist until the present time, the kingdom of heaven has endured violent assault, and VIOLENT MEN SEIZE IT BY FORCE [as a precious prize a share in the heavenly kingdom is sought with most ardent zeal and intense exertion].
Thus, disturb the atmosphere of the spirit by releasing fiery spiritual missiles in prayer! Bombard the gates of hell and the spirits of darkness unexpectedly by charging in the spirit with the Word of the Lord in your mouth! Decree, confess audibly, very boldly, the Word of God out of your mouth during prayer! Cause a sudden, violent commotion in prayer that the devil and his demonic hosts are not expecting! Pray in the Spirit, in the Holy Spirit in tongues, and in the understanding also (I Corinthians 14:15, Romans 8:26). Praying in the Spirit truly causes a violent commotion and releases a heavy discharge of SPIRITual ARTILLERY!
Actually praying in the Spirit, by the Holy Spirit prompting you, is prayer that is Spirit inspired and Spirit led, whether it is in your heavenly language, tongues, or in your own articulate speech. PRAYER THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT INSPIRES, GOD WILL ALWAYS ANSWER! Why? Because the Holy Sprit will ALWAYS pray what is in accordance with the WORD OF GOD and the WILL OF GOD, which is the WORD OF GOD (I John 5:14-15, Romans 8:26-27).
